Summer Fun

I have to admit, I'm super excited about summer!  Why?  Because this is the first summer ever that I'll be home with my sweet girl!!! {insert happy dance here}

It's bittersweet because she spends all of June with her dad.  And while I know it's a good thing, it's very hard for me nonetheless.  Buuutttt, it gives me ample time to plan stuff for us to do!

Of course I know most of us have an addiction to Pinterest, and I have been getting many summer ideas from there!  You can check out some of my finds here.  And let me know what you've found too!  I wanted to share one super cute idea that I'm just in awe over.  It's called a "Bored Jar" {and yes, I'm probably behind and this has been around forever, but I'm just now finding it} and I love this idea!

Again, I found it on pinterest, but it links to Shabby Beach Nest, which I am so glad that I found!  I don't really want to pull her whole post over to my blog since she worked so hard on it, so I'm just passing along her link, but you have to go check it out!  We all need a little blog lovin'!

Seriously, such a super cute idea!!!  Here's the link:  I'm Bored!

I used to do something like this, but not near as pretty! It was called the "Boredom Box". I had all kinds of ideas in it ... some fun (go play in the sprinkler) and some not so fun (clean out from under your bed). If I heard, "I'm bored," they HAD to choose something from the box. I love the sticks idea. It's much prettier. Thankfully, my little two always seem to find something to do. They rarely get bored because they just like to play with toys and use their imaginations. I will keep this idea tucked away, though!
